Mitton Hall Wedding Photography | Niel & Danielle Kenyon

As November knocks on the door and wedding season begins to slow down I was delighted that one of my final 2016 events was a Mitton Hall Wedding. Nestled in the heart of the Ribble Valley Mitton Hall Hotel is a secluded gem. The original manor house built in the 15th century boasts many of the original features which coupled with the modern investment make it a delightful wedding retreat. This was my first Mitton Hall Wedding and I must admit I really hope I get the chance to return and savour more of its charm, warmth and splendour, I can see why Niel and Danielle chose Mitton Hall to host their wedding.

Glorious sunshine greeted Rob and I as we arrived at 9am to begin our day. Danielle and the girls were all ready in full swing preparation mode with hair and makeup well underway and the prosecco flowing freely. The room was busy with family and friends coming and going, fetching and carrying, the air of excitement was palpable. As the morning quickly became lunchtime Niel and the boys arrived looking extremely sharpe in tailored suits and equally impressive cars.

With guests arriving and being seated the ceremony was soon underway, filled with laughter and joy and Niel and Danielle were introduced to their families and closest friends as the new Mr and Mrs Kenyon. Thankfully the sunshine continued to beam down as drinks and canopes were served as the guests enjoyed congratulating Niel and Danielle. The formal group pictures were quickly arranged and sorted and a little time given to bridal portraits. As the guests made their way in for the wedding breakfast Rob and I made the most of photographing more of the grounds and the unique manor house.

The whole day was perfect and as evening guests arrived sparklers were handed out and fun ensued as Niel and Danielle were surrounded by a wall of fizzing light and laughter. After the cutting of the brilliant cake and ceremonial first dance the party stepped up a gear, at this point Niel and Danielle enjoyed a final few images with me in the oldest part of the manor before we bid a fond farewell to Mr & Mrs Kenyon.

My sincere thanks to the staff at Mitton Hall, your hospitality was truly outstanding. If you are planning a wedding I cannot recommend Mitton Hall Hotel highly enough, please visit them here…
