Thoresby Riding Hall Wedding – Adam & Sarah
In April I found myself shooting a wedding close to home, this time a Thoresby Riding Hall Wedding. It was almost a year and a half since I met with Adam and Sarah and enjoyed a coffee at the Thoresby Courtyard. We chatted about their day and it seemed a lifetime away, where does time speed away too!! Before we all kew it the day was here, on the morning of the wedding the six bridesmaids were busy doing all manner of bridesmaid’y things. Sarah’s dad was doing all manner of Dad things, moving cars and nipping here there and everywhere to keep busy and his mind off the day ahead. The hours of the morning ticked by and suddenly the time to leave and head to Thoresby Riding Hall had arrived. Driven in style the wedding party arrived in good time to allow more pictures around the venue.
After the ceremony and drinks reception the guests enjoyed the unusually warm April sunshine as Adam and Sarah joined me for a little walk around the grounds, making pictures as we walked and talked. The wedding breakfast fast approached, nerves jangled as the speeches took place and the cake ceremony led into first dance. The dance floor came alive with some of the guys reliving childhood by skidding around the dance floor and their trousers, I thought I had seen it all until Sarah’s sister and maid of honour, Dr nonetheless, showed the boys how it was done.
We finished the evening with a more portraits and eventually said our goodbyes. As with all my wedding blogs the following images are my personal highlights of yet another wonderful wedding day, a perfect day for a Thoresby Riding Hall Wedding.
